Most people understand the convenience offered by cell phones but Kevin wants people to realize there are studies that have linked cell phone radio frequency radiation (RFR) emissions with brain tumors and other serious diseases. See the dozens of cell phone and brain tumor studies conducted by Lennart Hardell MD PhD, Oncologist & Researcher. There are many other studies linking cell phone emissions to a variety of biological effects. Most people do not know that after a thorough review of the research worldwide in 2011, the WHO, International Agency for Cancer Research Classified Wireless Radiation a Class 2B Carcinogen; thus, stating clearly that wireless radiation is not safe.
Kevin wants people to realize that the FCC that is responsible for the health and safety of wireless device emissions is a political commission and not a health and safety government agency. Most people do not realize that the safety testing for cell phone emissions is done on a plastic dummy rather than an electromagnetic human being like ourselves with electromagnetic molecules, cells, and body systems. Therefore, FCC testing cannot take into account the interaction between the hundreds of thousands to billions of electromagnetic waves per second emitted by wireless device transceivers and our human electromagnetic operating cells and human body systems.
Importantly, FCC testing focuses on the levels and limits of emissions from devices and does not focus on exposures to human; that is, how much wireless RF radiation is actually being absorbed by the body and how that radiation is affecting cellular functioning & human body system and organ functioning. The FCC who is responsible for preventing interference is ignoring and avoiding the most important type of interference– the interference between wireless RF radiation waves and the electromagnetic functioning of our cells and electromagnetic human body systems.
No wireless device, cell tower transmitter/receiver, or wireless transmitter/receiver of any type in the US has been biologically safety tested; that is, tested for the biological changes it causes in humans being exposed to its transmissions. These wireless transmissions are just assumed by the FCC to be safe as long as they do not actually heat flesh like a microwave oven.
Kevin wants you to grasp that there is no post market surveillance by the FCC; that is, there are no tests for biological effects once a wireless device is sold even for those who are heavy users and are highly exposed to transmissions. For instance, heavy users of cell phones who use a cell phone for 6 hours or more a day are not tested for biological effects. Cell phone users who use their phones next to the body vs farther away reducing wireless radiation exposure are not tested for differences in biological effects. Residents living near a cell tower who are exposed constantly to cell tower wireless emissions are not tested for biological effects vs those living much farther away with reduced wireless radiation exposure. Children in wireless classrooms with dozens of emitting wireless devices, usually multiple routers per room, and rooms next to each other and stacked on top of each other are not tested for biological effects vs children in classrooms without wireless devices or routers. Workers in offices or factories exposed to wireless radiation from multiple sources for long hours every day are not being tested for biological effects vs workers who do not work in wireless environments. These environments of heavy exposures are just assumed to be safe as long as the wireless microwave transmissions are not strong enough to cause actual heating of flesh.
But non-thermal cell phone like transmissions were shown to be carcinogenic, neurotoxic and genotoxic in a recently released massive $23 Million US NIH NIEHS National Toxicology Program Cell Phone Study see link: https://ntp.niehs.nih.gov/whatwestudy/topics/cellphones. The wireless transmissions in question were certainly bioactive so the FCC and every member of the public should be risk managing wireless as if it were bioactive and thus minimizing exposure because the FCC is not testing for the variability of that bioactivity between different types of users.
